Kiella Cares is our company initiative that focuses on giving back and staying engaged in our local community. As a family business that’s heavily rooted in the area, it’s important to us that the community we grew up in is taken care of, and that’s why we created this campaign. Kiella is a community builder, and supporting the community is what we do. We focus on assisting local organizations in Central Texas and businesses that have a similar vision.

Some of the main Kiella Cares initiatives include our Kiella Cares Golf Classic, and partnering with the Temple Area Builders Association and HomePAC. We’re also supporters of the Belton Educational Enrichment Foundation, which provides quality of education for all students in Belton ISD. Most of our operations involve the support for local youth and the homebuilding industry. Kiella strives to provide for the local community, just as it has provided so much for our family over the years.

Kiella Cares Golf Classic

What started as a relaxing day on the course nearly 35 years ago has since turned into a massive fundraiser for a great cause. In 2018, Kiella Homebuilders decided to turn our annual golf tournament into a way to help the community. For the past four years, we have donated over $367,500 to Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center. Each year, donations continue to grow with the support of our industry partners, and we couldn’t be more thankful. In the past, our tournament’s donations have helped the hospital purchase many important items including an EEG Machine, a transport incubator for the NICU, and most recently, four NICU Ultrasound Machines.

“We believe in not just building homes but building a better community for the current residents and generations to follow,” says John Kiella, Owner & CEO of Kiella Real Estate Group. “This annual fundraising tournament is a small piece of that for us in how we support this community, and we are grateful to our friends and industry partners for making it possible.”

Temple Area Builder’s Association & HomePAC

The Temple Area Builders Association is the voice of the home building industry for east Bell County, Texas. TABA’s advocacy efforts are vital to ensuring the local home building industry is free from excessive regulation and fees. TABA and its Members are proactive in promoting and preserving a positive business environment for our industry.

 

HomePAC is the political action committee for the Texas Association of Builders. HOMEPAC maximizes political contributions by association members by supporting pro-housing candidates and incumbents for both statewide office and the Texas Legislature.  It is through voluntary contributions that HOMEPAC can help preserve a positive political climate for the residential construction and development industry in Texas.

The Parade of Homes is an annual Spring event presented by the Temple Area Builders Association showcasing the newest trends in construction, building design, interior décor and landscaping in one of Texas’ most exciting real estate communities.
